A short-term ticket is valid for 40 minutes on working days and 60 minutes on weekends and public holidays.

How and where to buy a short-term ticket:

• DPMO App - Valid only on DPMO lines.

• SMS ticket - Send an SMS to 90206 and write DPMO in the message. Valid only on DPMO lines. Czech SIM card required.

• Purchase on public transport vehicles (at the middle doors)

• Paper ticket - Available for purchase:

* Discounted ticket for pupils and students aged 18–26 studying full-time (in-person study). A valid ISIC card or DPMO card must be provided.

Time-based tickets – 7-day to annual passes

Time-based tickets (7-day to annual passes) are non-transferable and are linked to a DPMO card, IDSOK card, valid ISIC card, or pupil/student card .

• The validity of student cards or an e-shop profile is limited to one school year and extended until 30 September of the following school year.
• From 1 July, confirmation of study for the following year can be submitted.
• Time-based tickets are valid for zone 71. Multi-zone tickets can be purchased at www.kidsok.cz .
• The validity of time-based tickets (7-day, monthly, quarterly, 10-month and annual) for students aged 18–26 linked to a card issued for the previous school year is limited until 30 September and until the day before the student's 26th birthday.

Obtaining a student card for students aged 18–25.99

To verify eligibility for the discount, the following must be provided:

• Identity card or passport.
• Valid ISIC card – it must have valid electronic student status or a valid validation sticker.

Every year, confirmation of study or a valid ISIC card must be provided.

• The validity of student cards or an e-shop profile is limited to one school year and extended until 30 September of the following school year.
• From 1 July, confirmation of study for the following year can be submitted.

The card can be issued in two ways:

• Paper DPMO card
• Electronic pass via the DPMO e-shop

Paper DPMO card

Required:

• Colour photograph, size 35 × 45 mm.
• The fee for issuing a DPMO card is 40 CZK.

If you want to change a paper card into an electronic pass, this is only possible after the validity of the time-based pass has expired.

However, you must have your own payment card, to which the time-based pass is assigned.

Electronic passes for zone 71 purchased through the DPMO e-shop are assigned to:

• A credit card.
• An NFC-enabled phone or smartwatch (you need to visit a DPMO sales point).

E-shop instructions

Registration is required. You must complete your profile and upload a photograph.

The profile must be verified:

• At our sales points – you must bring an identity document and other required documents needed to obtain discounted fares.

• Send a copy of your identity documents and other documents required for discounted fares by e-mail to preprava@dpmo.cz (formats: JPG, PNG, PDF – maximum 10 MB).

Time-based pass on a mobile phone via the MobilOK application

The carrier for an electronic pass for zone 71 with a validity period from 7 days to one year, purchased through the DPMO e-shop, can also be the MobilOK mobile application.

• The MobilOK application is available for free download from Google Play or the App Store.
• Login details are the same for the DPMO e-shop and the MobilOK application.
• Logging into MobilOK creates a carrier in your DPMO e-shop account. This carrier will have the name of your phone, and you can then purchase a pass assigned to this carrier.
