Tram service interruption in the Tržnice – U Kapličky section due to train derailment - lines no. 3,5 and X3 - from 3.4.2025

On Wednesday, April 2, an emergency (train derailment) occurred on Švýcarské nábřeží Street. The accident significantly damaged the railway crossing for trains and trams. After the train set has been removed, a comprehensive diagnosis will be carried out to determine the extent of damage to the railway crossing.

At the moment, we estimate that tram traffic will be interrupted in the Tržnice - U Kapličky section for a few days. 

Lines No. 3 and 5 will be replaced by circular lines X2/7 and X7/2 on the route Fibichova - Náměstí Republiky - Náměstí Hrdinů - Tržnice - Fibichova and back, and by replacement bus service X3.
